I purchased this desk because I needed something basic and inexpensive for my small studio apartment. It arrived quickly, and assembly was relatively straightforward. It's VERY small, however, and the construction is cheap. It feels sturdy once assembled, but the particle board components are very thin. (I actually punctured a hole through one of the boards while hammering in a hardware component, so be careful!)

I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a small, simple, inexpensive desk, but don't expect the quality you'd find from a more expensive product.

PROS:
- easy to assemble
- compact
- looks nice
- side shelves for extra storage/display space

CONS:
- cheap construction
- small workspace (fits my 13" laptop but doesn't leave much room for other materials)
- very short- you'll need a low chair! This product is very flimsy and even when assembled properly it wobbles. The design is nice, however the particle board is paper thin (punched the wooden dowels right through the desk top) and the legs are plastic. I did try to beef up the desk and am requesting a refund. There is no manufacturers information or even an 800 number should you need parts or help with assembly.

You are better off going to a Target, KMart or Walmart to find an inexpensive desk of better quality. light weight and easy to handle. Hard drive fits very well on lower shelf;also small enough to fit in my tiny apt.I knew the quality of the desk would be lacking simply based on the price alone, but seriously for how crappy it is there's no reason to even sell it, it's just a waste. This desk lasted maybe 2 weeks before it was not useable anymore. There is zero weight to it, so it wobbles a lot, even with a laptop on it. We ended up having to get rid of this and get a new desk for our 11 year old. If you want a desk for your kid like we did, please pass this one up and find something better. Price is great, but not a long term solution. Save your money and buy something better. Pretty happy with this desk. It is perfect for our college student. Compact and pretty sturdy. It wasn't too hard to put together but the instuctions were a bit difficult to follow. Had my husband been there to help us, I am sure it would have been much easier. I don't have much experience in assembling things. But, we did manage to get it together and my son is happy with itShipping was incredibly fast, especially for the free super savings shipping. Arrived in 3 days. The picture is accurate, but the desk itself looks much smaller in person than it does on the picture. I was planning on using this just as a makeup desk until we moved, but it is really too small for that. May return it, or use it for something else. For the price though, it really isn't bad once you factor in the free shipping. I read the reviews before buying this and I knew it wasn't going to be a very good quality desk. But, I figured at this price as long as it serves it purpose for the time being I would deal with it. Putting it together I was very cautious since I read so many reviews of people screwing right through and damaging the desk. Well, half way through I realized they didn't give me all the pieces and the pieces that I had were not fitting together so it is very easy to break pieces. I can not even put this desk together without the missing piece. I never return things or write reviews but felt it was necessary to really worn buyers. This desk isn't made well at all. I bought it from somewhere else and realized immediatly after taking it from the box that it wouldn't do. Very poorly made, flimsy, part broke of just from general set up. Package came on time alright, but with no manual / instructions and no screws! It was just the boards and plastic in a cardboard box. Unfortunately I gave it to my niece for college and she didn't open it until she was ready, so we couldn't even return it for a refund. I am highly disappointed and upset I wasted my money. This is not a bad little computer table for the price. I did choose to secure the assembled unit to the floor because it was a bit wobbly. It was easy to assemble and is serving its purpose. The delivery was right on time.
