Unfettered by excessive drawers and shelves, the simple design of this
three-piece Soreno desk from Walker Edison exudes sophistication. The
desk includes two 21-inch deep rectangular desktops and a quarter-circle
shaped desktop, which all join together in an L shape for abundant
surface space surface and compactly placement in a room’s corner.
Finished in a sleek black, the desk features sturdy steel frame
construction. The desktop--crafted out of black 6mm beveled tempered
safety glass--highlights the desk’s clean lines and minimal design to
beautiful effect. For CPU storage, an autonomous CPU stand is provided
under the corner of the desk. A keyboard tray slides out from underneath
the desktop; the tray can be installed under either arm of the L-shaped
desk. Upon delivery, the desk necessitates adult home assembly and
comes equipped with the necessary hardware and instructions. Walker
Edison offers additional online and toll-free telephone support for
assembly. Assembled, the desk measures 51 inches deep by 51 inches deep
by 29 inches high. This item weighs 67 pounds upon shipping.
This contemporary desk offers a sleek modern design crafted with durable
steel and thick tempered safety glass. The L-shape provides a corner
wedge for more space and the design creates a look that is both
attractive and simple. Flexible configuration options allow you to mount
the keyboard tray on either side of the desk. Also included are a
universal autonomous CPU stand and a sliding keyboard tray. This desk
compliments any room and is a great addition to any home office.
I was in the market for a smaller L-shaped glass top desk and found it
on Amazon $50 less than O-stock. Since I love quality reviews when
considering a purchase I'll cut the long winded stream of paragraphs and
hope this list form helps you with your decision AND assembly:o It may help to move the completed frame into place before installing
the glass; setting up and laying out your computer lines first saves a
lot of time and headaches if you plan on having this in a corner
o
Total time from setting the box down to the last piece of glass
installed was about 35 minutes (I've done a lot of home assemblies so it
may take about an hour for a complete beginner)
I was honestly
surprised because in the past I've bought particle board desks that were
pieces of garbage in the same price range. Overall this was a
fantastic item (and a total steal) for $100 with free shipping. Highly
recommended to anyone looking for a smaller glass top corner desk.
This computer desk is very easy to put together; I guess it took about one - very leisurely - hour from start to finish.
It is definitely sturdy enough for my purposes.
Interestingly
enough, outside of the framing and glass apparatus, it came with two
more of everything (i.e. screws and plugs) than needed.
While it does come with an Allen wrench you will need to furnish your own Phillips head screwdriver. This is an excellent desk for the money. It is the perfect size "L" desk
for a small space. It is very modern and sleek looking. The black glass
looks much better in real life than in the photos (and it matches the
rest of my decor perfectly). It is extra slick and shiny. It was very
easy to put together and seems much more sturdy than another "L" desk I
bought a couple of years ago. Love it! The only downside is...it's
impossible to keep clean. But that's what you get with black glass lol.
I couldn't be much happier with this desk. The assembly process was very
straightforward and took about 30 minutes. The only problem with
assembly is that one of the feet did not thread properly into the PC
tower stand, but I don't use that so it's not a big problem. The
appearance of the desk is sweet. Very modern and clean. The glass does
show fingerprints and smudges, but it's easily cleaned. I use the desk
for a wireless laser printer, two 17" notebooks, and a 24" HD monitor
and everything fits quite well with a little room to spare. I use a
small wireless bluetooth keyboard and an optical bluetooth mouse. Both
fit well on the keyboard tray; however as others have mentioned, a full
size keyboard alone would barely fit on this tray and there would
certainly be no room for a mouse. I'm 6'2" and have no problem sitting
comfortably behind this desk. My kness don't hit the glass or the
supporting crossbars. The only issue with this desk is that the glass is
painted instead of smoked. That's it. Aside from that it's great, and
an absolute steal considering the price.
I like the desk except that you can't stretch out your legs under the
desk, the metal supports get in the way. I sit at my desk for extended
periods of time and this has become a problem so I'm thinking about
trying to find another one with higher supports and more leg room.
As other reviews mentioned all the pieces come covered in what appears
to be fiber glass (though I was covered in the stuff and did not get any
splinters or itchiness, so perhaps it's something else). Either way, it
is pretty annoying and requires cleaning. The most obnoxious thing is
that there were several marks on each of the glass panes straight out of
the box. The desk is for home use so we weren't too concerned but this
would be a problem if it was for a professional setting. If you've never
assembled boxed furniture before you may want to get help with this
one, it's a little tricky. Overall it's a great desk. I purchased it for
my mother on Mother's Day and she has really enjoyed it.

should i buy Z-Line Belaire Glass L-Shaped Computer Desk reviews
Unfettered by excessive drawers and shelves, the simple design of this
L-shaped desk from Z-Line Designs exudes sophistication. The L shape
provides abundant surface space and fits neatly into an office corner.
With black powder coat finish, the desk’s sleek metal frame benefits
from reinforcement plats on all of its welding joints for extra
strength. The desktop, crafted out of 6mm/5mm clear tempered glass,
highlights the desk’s clean lines and minimal design to beautiful
effect. To display a computer monitor, personal photographs, or a desk
organizer, the desk offers a single elevated, glass shelf over one
section of the L-shaped desk. A glass tray with room for both a keyboard
and a mouse slides out from underneath the desktop. The desk
necessitates adult home assembly. While all obligatory hardware and
instructions are included, desk assembly requires some tools. A limited
lifetime warranty covers the China-made desk. Once assembled, the desk
measures 60 inches deep by 24 inches deep by 37 inches high and weighs
94 pounds.
I was slightly hesitant before ordering the desk because as you can
see from the pictures the keyboard tray is on one side and the monitor
shelf on the other. Not exactly practical, but you CAN put the
tray/shelf on which ever side you so please. It just takes some mental
switching during assembly, they don't show this in the directions but it
isn't difficult to figure out. Other than that the desk feels very
sturdy, no complaints thus far. It looks great and the keyboard tray is
solid, great desk.
I got this desk three months ago based just on the looks of it on
Amazon. I think it looks better in the photos here than in my room,
because almost all of the space is occupied by something. One thing I
did not realize, and which the photo does not show, is the fact that the
miles of wiring for two computers, printer, speakers, router, etc.,
will show right through the glass. I will have to work on that with
tubing or something. The other thing to note is that the steel frames
on the desktop - two outer and two inner - are not flush with the glass.
This is a good thing for the outer edges, but the inner frames could
be a problem if the monitor is lying on it, or if you want to place your
mouse pad over it, which I really wish I could. The frame is about two
millimeters above the glass. The glass top has moved a little whenever
I have moved the monitors. But other than that, I am pleased with the
desk, especially for the price.
Great desk! Even with all the parts and the technical-looking
instructions, hubby and I were able to put 2 of these desks together in
only an hour or two. We were a little surprised to see that the glass is
supposed to be attached to the metal with only a few little suction
cups, but so far, everything seems to be very sturdy and it looks great.
BTW, the desk CAN be switched around, with the flat side on the left
and the shelf side on the right.
However, the company manufacturers were very careless when packing up the desks. We realized - a little too late - that everything inside the box was covered with a heavy - but barely noticeable to the naked eye - layer of fiberglass strands. By the end, the desks, the floor, and both hubby and I were covered in the little splinters. I can only hope that we didn't inhale too many during the process. For now, we've had to ban our pets from this room until we're sure we have cleaned up as much of the fiberglass as possible. Shame on you Z-Line for bringing this danger into our home.
A lesser problem is that even after washing the desks, they seem to be covered in a resilient, odorless chemical that gets on your skin and tastes HORRIBLE. I don't remember the reason why I stuck my finger in my mouth, lol, but thank god I did or I wouldn't have known that my hands were covered in this toxic tasting crap! So be careful before interacting with babies and pets - I had to wash my hands 4 times before all the chemical came off. This piece of furniture looks great in my place (727 sq ft.) It has a modern feel to it and the overall structural design reinforces the design. I am very satisfied with this purchase. Definitely takes longer than one hour to put together unless your superman. I had free shipping so it was a no brainer for me. I also live on the third floor and the delivery guy delivered it all the way up. Thank you very much!
Now moving on to the actual product. First of all, it's made in china and it showed in mine. The black metal had scrapes on it in multiple places. Some pieces were worse than others. 2 of the 5 glass pieces had scratches. One was very noticeable. The glass is attached to the desk but several suction cups. The product was also covered in little shaving that another reviewer said was fiberglass strands. Not sure if that's exactly what they were, but my product was covered in them.
I really wanted to like this desk because it looks nice. Amazon wouldn't send me individual parts so I'm probably to attempt to contact the manufacturer. If that works, great..otherwise, I'll be returning this for a full refund. I don't want to risk exchanging this product for another one because I don't want to wait a week and then risk getting crap back. What a great product . When the box arrived at my door it looked as though it had been hauled over the Rockies in a buckboard . I didn't think any of glass could have survived the trip. It turned out all was well within. The packing had withstood the abuse.
The next surprise was how easy it was to assemble. I put it together by myself in about an hour. The desk looked great and I was pleased with the whole experience. I'm impressed. The desk is a decent size, the material and finish are of great solid/sturdy quality. The look is contemporary and quite sexy. Even has a keyboard holder that slides from under the desk and that too has a glass top. The desk is beautiful, glass tops everywhere, sturdy black metal finish. Not flimsy at all.
Well organized and well documented instructions. Simple to put together. Worth every penny!
Downside: Though it looks great make sure you do your cables under the desk tie wrapped and neatly done as the glass desk means you can't hide wires underneath the desk!

should i buy Walker Edison 3-Piece Contemporary Desk reviews
Architectural in styling and unmistakably modern, this contemporary
desk from Walker Edison provides ample workspace without weighing down
the room. Durably fashioned from chrome-finish steel tubing and tempered
safety glass, the desk has an L-shape that fits neatly into corners and
makes working more efficient. A sliding keyboard tray can attach to
either side of the L, and a separate CPU stand is also included.
Measuring 51 by 29 by 51 inches, the piece ships ready to assemble and
coordinates with numerous Walker Edison TV and video stands for a fully
coordinated home media room.
This contemporary desk offers a sleek modern design crafted with
durable steel and thick tempered safety glass. The L-shape provides a
corner wedge for more space and the design creates a look that is both
attractive and simple. Flexible configuration options allow you to mount
the keyboard tray on either side of the desk. Also included are a
universal autonomous CPU stand and a sliding keyboard tray. This desk
compliments any room and is a great addition to any home office. For anyone on the fence after reading some reviews PLEASE READ THIS:
First of all I ordered the SILVER version so I knew I was getting the
"X" frame as one reviewer noted. The BLACK framed desk at double the
price is the one that the reviewer gave 1 star for not being "Y"
framed... Anyway this desk is AWESOME I am 6'1" and I had no problem
with the "height" of this desk, I suppose if you had a chair that was
made for a dining room table or something it may not fit but I have a
"computer chair" that is adjustable. When I put the chair on its lowest
level I have like over 6" of clearance between the bottom of the
keyboard tray and my legs. The desk looks great, the glass is high
quality and tempered, to give you an idea while putting it together one
of the "X" legs fell from a standing position straight onto the glass,
it made a large smack when it hit but the glass didn't even have a
scratch... Nice.I am an IT professional and I am using this desk to work on multiple computers at once, I have two LCD monitors on it as well as a laptop and it feels REALLY STURDY.
For $77 (and no tax) delivered to your door you really can't beat the price, throw in moderate quality coupled with a modern design and this is THE BEST COMPUTER DESK FOR YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE! I looked at Wal-mart, Target, Bestbuy, Staples, and Shopko and this beat all of them hands down. BUY THIS DESK YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.
I purchase the silver version of this glass desk and it come with
perfect conditions and tools for assembling. It only takes me 20
minutes to put the whole thing up. All the screws and parts fit
perfectly and they also provide extras if you lose some which is great.
I do not have much expectation from the reviews but to my surprise,
this tempered glass desk is actually quite beautiful, airy, sleek and
modern witn this inexpensive price. It is very easy to move around and
not chunky. It is also quite sturdy and do not wobble. The glass slide
out is quite nice for keyboard or storage. As with any glass desk, you
do not want to clutter and put too many heavy stuff on top of it and
need to exercise a little more care. This is common sense.
I have a small study and instead of putting it against the wall corner, it fits perfectly next to the window in the middle of the room and facing the door. I don't like having my desk facing the wall and don't know who is coming behind me. The L shape provide plenty of desk space for my laptop and writing area. The clear tempered glass desk does not make my study feel small or take up too much space even when it is placed in the middle of the room. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend this product for anyone with a small study.

Amazon sent us a replacement desk with a prepaid USP return shipping label immediately, which was great. However, the shipping does not include a pickup service, so we needed to take the 67 lb. desk to a USP store.
Otherwise, we love the desks. They look nice for the price and compact enough to fit our small office. Plus, the main pieces are switchable; I'm using my desk with keyboard tray on the left side. My husband switched the sides, and his keyboard tray is on the right side of the deskI can't believe I got this desk for only $80. The black trim model was like $140 and the color didn't mean that much that I was about to pay $60 more for it. I have had this desk for about a month and it has been fantastic. Suction cups hold the glass down so no worries about it sliding around. It is a very good size. I can do my computer work on one side and my paper work on the other. It's great. Highly recommended.
Just an FYI, the piece on the bottom that holds the computer is not attached to the rest of the desk. Maybe it's obvious from the pictures but I didn't realize that. Not a big deal to me, just thought I would mention it. This desk is one of the best items I have purchased. Easy to assemble, and if you're great at spatial deductions, you can customize it to fit however you want. The keyboard tray portion works just as well on the right as the left; you could even have two separate desks or place them in line if you omit the corner section.
The package is fairly heavy, but most of the weight comes from the glass. The frame is light, almost too light, but isn't malleable unless you really force the bolts. Would not recommend using an electric screwdriver to assemble this product.
If used in a corner, there's that bit of space not filled up because of the rounded corner, and I suppose that would be annoying to some people. Also, most desktop computers won't fit under the straight areas of the desk because of the support bars, but the corner space or directly next to the sides are great locations. Very nice, sturdy desk. It works just right for my application The manufacturer made it really simple to put together. Every piece was marked and the directions (pictures only) were easy to follow. It gives me plenty of work space and very easy to clean. I have downtown condo great views big windows this looks great in front of the window. Easy to put together I use a laptop so I didn't do the keyboard tray. Great if you like to spread out while working. Sits low, so maybe not great for tall people but I'm 5'5 and it works great for my height. Looks great feels sturdy. A great buy for the price. I bought this desk because I wanted to create a workstation, since I am a college sophmore. For 79 dollars, this is the most sharp looking, sturdy desk you could ever buy. It has enough clearance for anyone. I put it together by myself in under an hour. My only warning is to make sure you know how you want it to be set up, or you'll be taking it apart (Example: keyboard tray on right or left side). If you are in the market for a desk, BUY THIS DESK. No complaints. packaged well: included extra hardware and glass properly packed, but metal frame had scuffs which are noticeable, but only if you know where to look
- cpu tray ~1" wider than my over-sized ATX case; lifts case about 1" from floor allowing good ventilation for power supply fan
- large surface to work on: 24" monitor, speakers, phone, all-in-one printer/scanner/copier, wireless router w/ room to work on documents
- glass tops (3) fit snugly, but had to loosen hex bolts for one of the larger tops to fit...really not a problem but just something to be aware of
- looked for a good contemporary computer desk for several months and think I picked a winner here

I purchased this desk because I needed something basic and inexpensive
for my small studio apartment. It arrived quickly, and assembly was
relatively straightforward. It's VERY small, however, and the
construction is cheap. It feels sturdy once assembled, but the particle
board components are very thin. (I actually punctured a hole through
one of the boards while hammering in a hardware component, so be
careful!)
I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a small, simple, inexpensive desk, but don't expect the quality you'd find from a more expensive product. This product is very flimsy and even when assembled properly it wobbles. The design is nice, however the particle board is paper thin (punched the wooden dowels right through the desk top) and the legs are plastic. I did try to beef up the desk and am requesting a refund. There is no manufacturers information or even an 800 number should you need parts or help with assembly.I read the reviews before buying this and I knew it wasn't going to be a very good quality desk. But, I figured at this price as long as it serves it purpose for the time being I would deal with it. Putting it together I was very cautious since I read so many reviews of people screwing right through and damaging the desk. Well, half way through I realized they didn't give me all the pieces and the pieces that I had were not fitting together so it is very easy to break pieces. I can not even put this desk together without the missing piece. I never return things or write reviews but felt it was necessary to really worn buyers. This desk isn't made well at all. I bought it from somewhere else and realized immediatly after taking it from the box that it wouldn't do. Very poorly made, flimsy, part broke of just from general set up. Package came on time alright, but with no manual / instructions and no screws! It was just the boards and plastic in a cardboard box. Unfortunately I gave it to my niece for college and she didn't open it until she was ready, so we couldn't even return it for a refund. I am highly disappointed and upset I wasted my money. This is not a bad little computer table for the price. I did choose to secure the assembled unit to the floor because it was a bit wobbly. It was easy to assemble and is serving its purpose. The delivery was right on time. I bought this because I have a small apartment with bad interior design. I had a bigger one, and it didn't fit. This one fits almost anywhere. I love it. The only drawback I had, was the dowels went through the top of the desk. That might have been because I pushed to hard or the wood is too thin. Either way, it's only a problem if I am trying to have it be beautiful and never use. Why am I rating a flimsy desk 4 stars? Because for the price and free shipping with Amazon Prime, I can't really complain. Sure you can get a better desk, but not at this cost and not with the ease of Amazon. For that, I love this desk. We bought it for our second room to put an old PC there for the parents to use when they come to babysit, and for those purposes no complaints. I might be skeptical if I used it every day, as the quality is only so-so. The base where the keyboard should go is also pretty narrow, but this is a "Compact Computer Desk," just not as much space as I would comfortably like since I seem to sit in front of the computer for more time than I care to admit. Overall though it has served our purposes well and I'm satisfied with the speed which it was shipped (love the free 2 day Prime shipping) and of course the great price. Thanks Amazon! I used to assemble this kind of furniture at my job. I have never seen such junk! The dowels went right through the "wood" to the top of the unit. It won't stand up on the carpet. It weighs next to nothing. a bit smaller that i thought, instruction to assemble were very poor. Not as strong, but nonetheless its a decent good small cheap desk. Although this is a cheap computer desk it is not worth the money. After it was put together it was extremely flimsy and small. It could barley fit my laptop. Also, it shipped damaged. I returned it immediately. You would be better off just buying a small cheap table or find something on craigslist. I would not recommend this item to anyone. I really like the way the desk looks and that it has a decent amount of storage space, but it is not sturdy. I can feel it move a bit as I type, nothing annoyingly so, but if I'm placing my laptop or a heavy book on it, it moves more than I wish it would. Also, it is sized for a computer (as in the fact that it's a computer desk) and not much else. I have a 17 inch laptop and I was hoping to get some written work done with my laptop open on the desk also, but it's a bit cramped to have space for both laptop and paper.
I'm giving it four stars because the instability is the only factor that I feel the manufacturer is responsible for, all the other stuff is just info I feel like sharing. I'm not sure if it's because I have it placed on carpet, but the moving is not from the base but from where the laptop is and such.
It's lightweight though so that was a plus for getting it up my stairs and is a good size for a small or medium room, but as I mentioned, is unfortunately not large enough for my bulky laptop + work space. This Furrino desk is PERFECT for any college student on a budget. The desk has 3 shelves and a place for a laptop or desktop computer. Additionally, it was easily assembled. While minimal, the instructions were good. Another nice thing, tools required - Screw Driver, Hammer, Mallet (not really necessary)The good points about this desk is that is a good size if you do not have alot of room for a desk.. It also has storage space for just what I need.. a few books, paper/ pens/ & a phone.. Its a nice color & attractive.. BUT... It came w/a few chips.. When we put it together the screws were too long. When assembling the desk is upside down.. after we were done & turned it rightside up there were 3 bumps in the particle board {fake wood} from the very long screws. If placing anything on top of the bumps you will cause an actual chip. Therefore we have 2 small chips that were there from shipping & 3 larger chips from the screws. We choose not too go thru thre trouble of returning it. It was cheap & too much trouble to undo , box up & bring to our closest ups place. Its 6 miles from my home. We figured if we got a s mall desk at a thrift store it would cost about the same & would probably not be perfect either.I wish we just went to a local store Instead of having it shipped. CHEAP is CHEAP afterall. I was looking for a cheap little desk. Nothing extravagant and definitely nothing costly. I found this one and it was so nice I had to write a review. Don't expect anything wildly expensive looking. It does look exactly like the picture. It is perfect for someone who needs a simple desk with a little bit of shelving. It is great and what a buy!!!

There is no manufacturers information or even an 800 number should you need parts or help with assembly.light weight and easy to handle. Hard drive fits very well on lower shelf;also small enough to fit in my tiny apt. Shipping was incredibly fast, especially for the free super savings shipping. Arrived in 3 days. The picture is accurate, but the desk itself looks much smaller in person than it does on the picture. I was planning on using this just as a makeup desk until we moved, but it is really too small for that. May return it, or use it for something else. For the price though, it really isn't bad once you factor in the free shipping. I read the reviews before buying this and I knew it wasn't going to be a very good quality desk. Either way, it's only a problem if I am trying to have it be beautiful and never use.Why am I rating a flimsy desk 4 stars? Because for the price and free shipping with Amazon Prime, I can't really complain. Sure you can get a better desk, but not at this cost and not with the ease of Amazon. For that, I love this desk. We bought it for our second room to put an old PC there for the parents to use when they come to babysit, and for those purposes no complaints. I might be skeptical if I used it every day, as the quality is only so-so. The base where the keyboard should go is also pretty narrow, but this is a "Compact Computer Desk," just not as much space as I would comfortably like since I seem to sit in front of the computer for more time than I care to admit. CHEAP is CHEAP afterall. We live in a small apartment and had been using the dining table as a computer table. Of course, it was always a mess, so I started looking for a cheap desk where to put my laptop. I'm pretty happy with the Furinno desk because my stuff (it's not all that much) fits very well and it was quite easy to assemble. It was almost fun to assemble it, actually. Anyway, the desk is stable but if you place a cup of coffee next to you, it will easily shake and spill if you happen to accidentally kick the desk. Overall, this is a good desk for the money. It is great and what a buy!!! this desk is very cheap price, but also very cheap to hold imac and start shaking whenever you press the key at keyboard. The base is not very strong, they should make perfect desk which doesn't move when you put your hand on desk. The Furinno Desk is AMAZING! Easy to assemble, compact and you can fit a lot of stuff in it! The color was great and it is very stable and solid. I would really recommend this desk.

I bought this desk for placing my imac. It is the cheapest desk on
Amazon with free shipping(except another desk that is too small for an
imac). Now I am writing the review on the desk right after assembling
it. I am very unsatisfied with its quality.
Firstly, all the screws scattered everywhere in the package. No extra screws. No labels on the parts. The glue spilled out when I opened the plastic bag that contains the glue bottle. Although all these are not big problem as long as you are careful, this still shows the manufacturer has not taken customers' convenience into consideration.
Secondly, half the holes are not drilled deep enough and are extremely tight. A few holes are no more than mere shallow marks on the surface. Two of the holes are even in wrong places. I don't have a drill, so it took me a good 1.5 hours to do this seeming simple task of assembling. The wooden panels are thin.
Finally and what is the most annoying, the desk wobbles A LOT on a carpet floor. It leant immediately after I put my computer on it. I am worried an accidental hit on the desk would cause my computer to slide and fall off.
I wouldn't say you get what you paid for, because this desk is way under my expectation. I can understand for such a low price, I will get a small and basic desk. But the quality is just so cheap. I've seen much more sturdy desks at $40-80 in local Walmart and Office Depot during the August back to school season. This is an awful product.
Ordered two of these and expected some low quality materials but what I
received was just rubbish. They're too heavy and inexpensively purchased
to bother sending back but I'm very disappointed.
The posts on the desks are plastic, the pressboard is about 1/4 of an inch thick, the desks came pre-scuffed and worn around the edges, one of the desks was missing a pilot hole, and the other desk had some breakage from screwing in areas and also from the wooden dowels.
I know you may be shopping on a budget but splurge the extra $10 or whatever it takes to get a decent desk. These are junk. This product came in handy on my deployment to Afghanistan. It was the right size for my room and the perect size for my computer and the books that I have. I would strongly recommend this product for anyone whether they are deployed or a college student in a small dorm.Good Desk for the price. I wanted to create a makeup vanity so I needed a cheap desk. It took about a half an hour to put together. I've seen desk of worse quality in stores for 50-60 dollars. I would buy again. When it comes to the instructions I suggest organizing and writing the letters on the pieces, I think that really helped. Also it even came a day early. I guess you get what you pay for but I expected it to be a little sturdier than it is. It wasn't horrible to put together but the directions could have been much better. Because of the price I wasn't expecting it to be fantastic but I was surprised by how flimsy it is. It wobbles easily when just typing on the keyboard. I would never let my infant near this thing. It would take very little for a small child to pull this down and potentially get hurt. I will end up just junking this thing. I am rather disappointed with this purchase. I have been recently working on setting up my home office. We moved into an apartment 7 months ago, and until this month were basically just using the office space for a storage. I am all about being thrifty whenever possible & found this item for a ridiculously thrifty price (I paid $66.98 for the desk & matching book shelf!), so I have to say that made me very happy. I did not have high expectations, considering I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for as a consumer, at least in most cases. But I have to say, I am quite pleased with the product.
It is the perfect size for a small office. It's not big & bulky like many of the other desks I viewed. I wanted something simple, compact, & a good size to work on my laptop while doing homework. This product is just that. I would not recommend having a full size monitor, although I imagine it would be sturdy enough as long as the hard drive is kept on the bottom shelf.
My only complaint is regarding the assembly instructions. I felt like I was figuring out some obscure logic puzzle. During my young adult years, I often bought cheap assemble-it-yourself Ikea products & never had any difficulty putting the items together. This assembly process took me much longer than I had expected. The biggest issue was figuring out where these wooden pegs (I forget what they call them in the instructions) go. The parts are also misleading because I was only supposed to use 4 of these wooden pegs to attach the desktop to the "legs," if you will, but I used 6 because there were 6 holes (3 on each leg which they refer to as B & C or something like that) & I was even more confused because they kept referencing that there were 8 of these things.
I also got kind of annoyed because I didn't hammer the wooden peg down far enough on the legs & when I attached the desktop the peg started to poke through the particle board. So make sure you hammer it down far enough before attaching the desktop.
Bottom line while assembling: use 4 pegs to attach the desktop to the legs (2 on each leg), use 2 to attach the small board on the right of the laptop in the pic to the desktop, and 2 to attach the top shelf. Be sure to hammer the pegs far enough into the legs so that you do not damage your desk.
The finished product looks great & the matching bookshelf pulled the office together. I will write a separate review for that one. This desk is fine, except its assembly is too complicated. Assembly requires too much time, includes too many pieces, and has instructions with too few details. Also, the screws that were included should have come in a small ziploc or other bag. Instead, they were just scattered loosely in the box, making them really hard to keep track of and easy to get pricked with. I ordered one for my daughter and liked it so much, I ordered one for myself. It took me about 30 minutes to put together and I am terrible with tools, etc. The instructions were good to follow. The quality was better than I expected for the price. Great for laptop, printer and a little extra storage. This is great if you have limited space in your home or room, I placed mine in my closet. It is very durable, simple to assemble and can hold a lot of weight. I have a laptop, monitor, books and gallons of water on this thing and it is holding. I would recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a nice but cheap desk.

I've seen much more sturdy desks at $40-80 in local Walmart and Office Depot during the August back to school season. This is an awful product.
I needed a cheap desk that was small and suitable for an old laptop
and a small printer for my mom, esp. being so pressed for money at
Holiday time. For a long time she was using an old child's nightstand as
her desk and it was uncomfortable because there was no room for
anything, and no foot room. Upon looking at this item I noticed that it
had a lot of negative review and I was afraid to give it a chance. The
size, price and style of it however was perfect for my needs, esp since
it had no keyboard slide out and it had the top area to the side for the
printer. I decided to take a chance since I also signed up for Amazon
prime recently and would receive free shipping. The desk is cheap, it is
particleboard, not wood. The instructions were a bit tricky as well.
Upon arrival the desk had been delivered safely, no damage. Putting it
together it did hold though it was definitely a two man job. The only
reason I give it four stars was because on the top piece of wood for the
printer it had the section to screw it in underneath but the holes
didn't go through to the top. Luck of the draw, production flaw I guess.
I had to carefully create the hole through on the other side to attach
it properly. Overall, the desk is in good condition, fit everything
perfectly and holds sturdy on the carpet. It was great in a pinch and I
don't regret it. I will say that I would not recommend putting a large
computer on this. Put either a computer with a mini tower or a laptop on
it, this is not the kind of item to holds large bulk. Hope this helps
shed a little positive light.

This is an awful
Good Desk for the price. I wanted to create a makeup vanity so I needed a
cheap desk. It took about a half an hour to put together. I've seen
desk of worse quality in stores for 50-60 dollars. I would buy again.
When it comes to the instructions I suggest organizing and writing the
letters on the pieces, I think that really helped. Also it even came a
day early.
Decent desk for the price. It was worth it but I don't recommend
getting it if you plan on putting on top of carpet, VERY wobbly, easy
fix if you put a sheet of wood underneath. All in all worth it.I guess you get what you pay for but I expected it to be a little
sturdier than it is. It wasn't horrible to put together but the
directions could have been much better. Because of the price I wasn't
expecting it to be fantastic but I was surprised by how flimsy it is. It
wobbles easily when just typing on the keyboard. I would never let my
infant near this thing. It would take very little for a small child to
pull this down and potentially get hurt. I will end up just junking this
thing. I am rather disappointed with this purchase.
I have been recently working on setting up my home office. We moved
into an apartment 7 months ago, and until this month were basically just
using the office space for a storage. I am all about being thrifty
whenever possible & found this item for a ridiculously thrifty price
(I paid $66.98 for the desk & matching book shelf!), so I have to
say that made me very happy. I did not have high expectations,
considering I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for as a
consumer, at least in most cases. But I have to say, I am quite pleased
with the product.
Ordered two of these and expected some low quality materials but what I
received was just rubbish. They're too heavy and inexpensively
purchased to bother sending back but I'm very disappointed.
