Product was delivered quickly. The color is not what is shown in the
picture & it lost a star for that, was much darker, but was fine for
us. Was easy to put together, and it's a great desk for a small space.
Love all the compartments and cubby holes, and the drawer is a nice
touch. Overall good quality product. Picked this desk also for the CPU
storage being on the right side, many are on the left for some reason
these days. We've had the desk for a while now & love it.
the desk came and was fairly easy to put together, took me about 3.5hrs
including hooking my PC back up and all the cables and whatnot. the
quality of the desk is pretty good, its the cheap particle board design
with wood grain finish, its a sturdy desk and is really good for the
price, the ONLY flaw was that the shelf above the monitor did NOT have
the wood grain finish. now was it in the box so it fell off b4 it was
packaged. but still a good desk overall!!
the product wae exceptional.. however you really have to be an engineer
to assemble it..it took me over four hours but the end was worth it.The product shipped quickly and was even higher quality than I expected.
The only minor issue was a little nick on the edge of the desk top that
I believe happened during final delivery. Some wood glue fixed this
pretty well. The assembly instructions were the highest quality I've
ever seen and I am very pleased with the finished product. Would
definitely buy Sauder furniture in this manner again.
I am a 68 year old female and I put most of this together myself. My
grandson helped and learned some things in the process. I needed him to
help move it since it was very heavy. We love it and it fits just
where I wanted it.
I really love this desk. It took about 3 hours to put together, but it
was worth it. It has a lot of room, I still have a couple of shelves
that are empty. The wood is thicker so it's not flimsy.
I bought this computer desk with hutch because of the compact size and
shelf heights that can be adjusted. It was easy to put together and
looks great as a result and the picture is true to its actual color,
however, the wood is not that thick in some places so I just hope it
holds together and the outer layer of finish doesn't peel away so easily
as others I have had did.
Very pleased. Desk is solid wood and has a beautiful finish. Fits perfectly in the space allowed in my office.
This desk was very easy to assemble with very detailed instructions that
were easy to follow. All parts were included. Took about three hours
to put the desk together, but I took my time and stopped for a break
twice. Once assembled the desk was very sturdy and the layout was
functional. This was a Christmas present to my son's family to hold the
new computer that we got them for Christmas. I have assembled many
pieces of furniture similar to this, but this is at the top of my list
for quality and ease of assembly.
This is a really cute "first" desk for our daughter. It's not exactly
small, but it's not huge, either. Perfect for what we needed. It's
very sturdy, although it does take awhile to put together, so be
patient. Shipping was lightening fast! It's a little darker than the
one in the picture, but it has a nice look to it. It doesn't look like
totally real wood by any means, but it has a very nice finish, and it's
pretty, especially for the price. Overall, we are very pleased with
this desk.
The product is very heavy if you live in an apartment, not a good idea
to buy it. The delivery man left it in the stairs of our apartment! I
was so upset!
When I put it together one of the hole is broken it
did NOT hold up to the weight, it fell on my feet. I got a huge cut! I
ended up throwing it away because it is NOT safe and stable! I have
wasted my money! What a big WASTE!
If you have kids or you are
planning to move someday.....this is not a good product for you...the
weight and the cabinet structural integrity is NOT worth it.
Purchased the Sauder Orchard hills small wood computer desk with Hutch
in oak and absolutely loved it. I used a professional to assemble it
and it was just perfect for the space I intended for it. It added a
complete student look to my son's room. He loved it too.
